About us

The project is developed at the Laboratoire de Physique Subatomique et de Cosmologie (LPSC) in Grenoble, France. The LPSC is a joint research unit of the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), the Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA) and the Institut Polytechnique de Grenoble (Grenoble INP).

Nyx originates from the software requirements of scientific instrumentation projects, particularly the control and acquisition systems of millimetre-wave telescopes equipped with Kinetic Inductance Detectors (KIDs).

The project is designed and developed by CNRS research engineers in scientific computing.

Jérôme ODIER


Maintainer

Jérôme Odier is a CNRS research engineer in scientific computing at LPSC Grenoble.

He contributes to the development of data-analysis software for the Euclid space telescope, to the management of scientific metadata for the ATLAS experiment at CERN, and to the development of control and data-acquisition systems for telescopes equipped with KIDs.

He initiated the Nyx project and is responsible for its overall architecture and development.
